NAEA is the professional body for all (UK) Property Pot Sales operations. NAEA (The National Association of Estate Agents) is the UK’s leading professional body for estate agency. NAEA was established with the goal of upholding good practice and high professional standards in UK estate agency.

London Rental Standard (LRS): On 26 May 2014, the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, launched the London Rental Standard (LRS). This bold initiative is designed to raise professional standards in the capital’s private rented sector by providing a consistent benchmark of accreditation for consumers. LRS is a voluntary set of minimum standards that the Mayor expects of letting agents who operate in London’s private rented sector. (UK) Property Pot is proud to support the Mayor of London and provide a service which exceeds these minimum rental standards.

The Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) is used by (UK) Property Pot to register all tenant’s deposits. TDS is a government approved tenancy deposit protection scheme operated by The Dispute Service Ltd. The Housing Act 2004 requires letting agents to protect deposits on assured short hold tenancies in such a scheme. TDS provides insurance backed tenancy deposit protection with free, impartial dispute resolution for when disagreements arise over how the money is divided.

The Property Redress Scheme (PRS) acts as property ombudsmen for (UK) Property Pot. By law, property agents are required to join a government authorised consumer redress scheme. The purpose of this is to give consumers of the property agent an escalated complaints procedure if they are unhappy with how their complaint has been dealt with by the agent.
